RecognizerGuide Drawbox not visible

Hi

I am trying to use the RecognzerGuide but i can't get the drawnbox visible.

For what i read in MSDN the drawnbox should be visible on the screen.
Is there anything i need to set or a method to call before the box is
visible ?
I am trying to create a box array where each box should only contain 1
character.

Johan

RE: RecognizerGuide Drawbox not visible

Hi Johan,

setting the RecognizerGuide.DrawnBox property does not render anything on
the screen.

It works the other way around: if your application has drawn any visual
hints for the user where to write, you should use the DrawnBox property to
tell the recognizer where the lines of those hints are. It's basically a
design recommendation to improve the recognition accuracy. If you don't have
any visual hints for the user, you can set the DrawnBox to the same rectangle
as the WritingBox.

Here is the relevant piece from MSDN:
http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms826968.aspx
"If the application has drawn guidelines on the screen on which the user is
expected to write, the application should set the values of the properties of
the recognizer guide to inform the recognizer. These properties are for the
recognizer's use only. Setting them does not, by itself, draw visual clues on
the display. The application or the control draws the visual clues."

Thanks,
Stefan Wick
