Custom Gestures

I've been trying to find information about how to do this but perhaps I'm
missing something. How do I create custom "recognizers" for inking and
gesturing? Does the SDK provide a tool for this?

Thanks,
Shawn

Re: Custom Gestures

Well, there isn't a toolkit for making custom gestures or anything. There is
documentation and a sample for creating a reusable gesture recognizer. But
if you were looking to just use a specific gesture in your application, you
probably don't need to go to all the trouble of that. You could simply watch
the x/y coordinates and use whatever crazy math logic people that write
recognizers use. :) Handwriting recognition is way beyond me. But check out
Casey Chesnut's blog. He's got some articles on stroke reco.

Yeah, I saw that tool from Swigart. Certainly makes things easy. I'll
update it to take advantage of Ink Analysis. The types of recognizers I
want to use are multiple stroke.

Thanks,
Shawn
