Tablet and VBS Script - WshShell.Popup

I have several scripts that I use to setup a PC. I've noticed on a couple
tablets (that share the same build image) the scripts stall. If I go to the
task manager, the WScript.exe process takes up 99 percernt of the CPU. It
appears that the script hangs on this line with "WshShell.Popup".

here is the assignment of WshShell:
Set WshShell = WScript.CreateObject ("Wscript.Shell")

I found a similar problem at this site:
http://hardware.mcse.ms/archive39-2007-4-280203.html

Do you know of any work arounds? I've hunted on the web but haven't been
able to find anything.

i have never found WSH to be consistent across machines whether Tablet
or not. So i am very cautious about being optimistic on the new
release. There is a new version of Windows Scripting Host. Does not
mention Tablet OS at all, but maybe the newer WSH fixes your problems.

Windows Script 5.7.0.16535 for Windows XP was rereleased Aug 24, 2007
because of SFP install problems.

Please post back if it does fix your issues.

Fixes VBScript / JSCript interoperability.
Fixes problems with not finding non-existant language dlls such as
wshenu.dll.

This release also contains fixes described in the following
knowledgebase articles.
