| How to change action when converting to tablet mode? Hi, When I convert from desktop to tablet mode the OS respond by turning of the screen. This is off course meaningless for a tablet to behave like that. How can I overwrite this action such that the screen is still on in tablet mode? I run vista business on a acer c202TMI tablet |

| Re: How to change action when converting to tablet mode? Go into Control Panel and in Classic View you will see an icon for Tablet PC Settings. Open that, and go to the Display tab for the Screen orientation section. The default listing is Primary landscape. Next to the Sequence... you'll see a Change... button. Select that, and you'll receive for choices so you can set the action when you rotate the screen. Make your selections there, then OK them, Apply on the next screen, then OK again. Exit the Tablet PC settings and Control Panel, and restart your system. What you're seeing is the default settings. A lot of people prefer Portrait display in "Tablet mode." -- Chris H. | Re: How to change action when converting to tablet mode? Hi again, maybe I did not specified my problem as clear as I should. What I mean is that the screens turns totaly off when closing the tablet lid. This happens regardless of how I have specified the screen orientation or how I have specified the lid close action in the advanced setting of the power management. Other people also experience this type of problem and the fix so far: Disable the 'ACPI Lid' Device http://forums.microsoft.com/MSDN/Sho...eID=1&PageID=1 "Chris H." wrote: > Go into Control Panel and in Classic View you will see an icon for Tablet PC > Settings.
