This article in TechNewsWorld.com is about the "$100 laptop," but it also recognizes the growing success of Tablet PCs in education:

It's not just colleges. In various emails and conversations I'm having with people I'm seeing strong Tablet adoption at all grade levels. Colleges are probably number 1, high schools second, followed by middle schools and now a growing early-education market.
