Yesterday was my favorite day at CES because of the Tablet PC & UMPC Community Gathering. The wonderful mix of people attended, such as Scott Eckert from Motion Computing, Martin Smeckal from TabletKiosk, Bjorn and Ellen from VIA, Microsoft Tablet PC & UMPC team members, Diane Dumas from Smartphone and Pocket PC Magazine and the list went on and on.
Loren clipped segments from the live webcam feed that we had going. Just as Loren described, the battery ran out and the feed stopped just before the drawing. Loren, Mom won a build-to-order Motion Computing Tablet PC of her choice! It wasn't rigged, just Mom's good luck :) Warner won the OtterBox case. IT Case gave a carry case away too and TabletKiosk had a trivia t-shirt giveaway.
The best part was talking with everyone. Catching up with those who I met last year and returned for another gathering, as well as meeting all the new UMPC enthusiasts.
