Scott Guthrie has announced the availability of Visual Studio 2008 Beta 2 and the .Net Framework 3.5 Beta 2. There are some special instructions for getting the beta up and running so be sure to check out Scott's post.
I'm downloading the files now so I'll let you know in a couple hours how it goes. The "Orcas" download is 3.05GB in size and on my so-so cable connection, I'm getting 425kb/sec download, which leads to just under two hours for downloading the file. My guess it will be longer. Always is. There's also an MSDN file which is 1.8GB in size and according to the download manager it's going to take me an hour or so to download it.
Can't wait to get the Beta 2s running.
