DKM, which was made possible with the advent of pen-based computers and the Internet, brought the ability of the Kageyama Method to new heights. Every student is equally challenged by a tireless computer via thorough repetition, which gives the students an equal opportunity to push his or her fundamental learning skill to the limit. Immediate marking and feedback to students are possible. Kanji stroke-order evaluation——not even possible in traditional paper-based classes——is included. Internet-based DKM implementation garners student records, making unbiased assessment to design and customize the curriculum. This fosters a learner-centric and assessment-based learning and teaching environment. In this poster session, we will demonstrate——inside and out——the best practices and secrets out of DKM, including class videos and the amazing result data. We will introduce you to some of the 2007 practices. Furthermore, we will demonstrate some of the latest Tablet PC and Ultra-Mobile PC (UMPC) devices, the best platforms for the Digital Kageyama Method.
