The True Launch Bar is
reviewed by Tracy on StudentTabletPC. This program is compatible with the quick launch bar folders, but allows the user to add folders easily as well as
numerous plugins. The
ToDo list looks like a wonderful addition to an environment.
According to Tracy:
During the semester, I keep a folder for each class in that toolbar. At any time I can see file I have for any class simply by looking at the toolbar. These drop-down menus act like any other file explorer where you can open a file, create a new folder, or organize, but without opening a new window so it’s clean and makes finding things a breeze.
Based on her glowing report, I just had to download the program and give it a try. She is right. The program is wonderful. Just make sure that after the program installs, check for updates because you can download the plugins from the True Launch Bar Components Manager.
Windows Vista users will want to
download the beta version.
