Electronista has some details about Samsung's announcement today of the launch of the Q1 Ultra UMPC. More details about the Q1 Ultra are popping up around the Net.
I had a chance to check out the Q1 Ultra at Mix07 and it looked good. The split-QWERTY keyboard on the case would take some getting used to, and the performance seems like a step down, but for the mobile-minded it's probably a step in the right direction. I didn't get a chance to check out its boot time--something that the Q1 isn't so hot at.
The price isn't too bad: Starts at $799 and will be available at Best Buy, Circuit City and so on.
Update: Gottabemobile has a bunch more specs here. Notice, for instance, that the $799 model sports Windows XP and that the version with HSDPA hits $1499.99.
