 Battery life with Vista Gottabemobile has a great thread on the topic of battery life and Vista. I haven't had time to run tests to see how much battery performance I can get from my Toshiba M400, so I look forward to reading any results people come up with. My hunch is that there's more going on here than simple Vista settings, but maybe not. I'd be satisfied if I could get back to 10-20% of what I was getting with XP. All of this has me thinking more and more about switching to a desktop system for development and using a UMPC for mobility. Incremental Blogger      |
