power button?????

perhaps i am wrong, or just too stupid to own a tablet but why is it that if the tablet "in tablet mode" hibernates the only way to turn it on is to open it up and press the power button. is this a design flaw or is there something i am missing?
thanks

It's a design flaw, the laptop should wake up when any button is pressed and perhaps when you put the pen on the digitizer. The power button should also be accessible in tablet mode so that you can turn it on that way, too.

I corresponded with Averatec support and they may be fixing the wakeup issue in their upcoming BIOS update. But the location of the power button would have to be on the next model, unless someone wants to void their warranty and install their own button somewhere. I guess maybe I'll do that in a year.
