And now Averatec is telling me that I won't get it until early October! :realmad:

They say that Microsoft is coming out with another version of their Tablet OS so Averatec for some reason put a halt on their shipments until then. What?! Is this standard practice? IMO, once the order is placed, regardless of what the OS people are doing (which is probably making things worse) Averatec should honor the original purchase! The consumer MUST know that OS's are going to change and should expect as such.

This sucks. School's started, my project is pushing forward and I'm stuck writing notes on anything I can find! Not to mention summer's coming to a close so the other projects I had in mind around the neighborhood have to wait.

Now I remember why I always spec'd and built my own computers.
