Thought others might be having the same issue as me. When updating microsoft office onenote it will ask for a CD and not be able to find the proper file. This is a known issue with averatec and they recommended I do the following (and it worked):
Microsoft is aware of the bug, and I have developed a work-around that will solve your issue.
1. Open the pre-installed version of Office OneNote.
2. Insert the COA (product code) given in box with laptop.
3. Activate OneNote through the Help menu, or through the pop-up dialog.
4. Uninstall OneNote.
5. Download and install OneNote trial version, NOT USING THE KEY PROVIDED BY MICROSOFT. Instead, use the COA product code provided by Averatec.
6. Complete install of trial version. Upon completion, full product will be installed and no time limit will be applicable.
OVerall this is a pretty cool tablet for the price. Keyboard is cheap, it gets really hot, short battery life with wifi and some of the software updates are a little buggy. With that said the features for the price is one of the best deals on the market. Now if they would just start selling spare batteries!
