Hi,

Apparently acer was supposed to make some anouncement yesterday about new tablet PC.I could not find anything .Do somebody know something.
This is quite important since I need to change computer (ref my post "need yur help" in the getting started section).Unfortunately my boss gave me a budget limit which would just allow me the acer TC110 but after careful consideration it seems to me the screen is REALLY toosmall (10.4").I mean I have to use excell from time to time....and I have come to the conclusion that I need 12".
Basically I am keeping my fingers crossed and I hope that acer is going to anounce a TC100 with a 12" screen at the same price.....

So far, the announced Dothan systems are from Acer, Toshiba, and Gateway.

The Acer C303 announcement was sent to several resellers. Ingram Micro shows the earliest date but they tend to push back dates as soon as the aggressive one arrives. The majority of places are stating June 7.

I'm not sure of your budget but you may want to return to your boss and talk about the return on investment by making sure the purchase is valuable. It would be a waste of money to get a slow performing and early generation when the new ones are on the market. Try to sell your boss on the benefits of a faster machine with a larger screen. Split the costs to the lifetime of the machine and show when the investment will pay off.

That budget thing is real tough believe me...

As far as yu know are yu aware of an updated version of the acer TC110 ?(I guess I can wait for 2 or 3 months)
