I just purchased a 303xmi and overall really like the machine. I need help with one thing. Something is really wierd with the mouse cursor. For roughly the first 5 minutes the machine is booted up or coming off sleep mode the cursor automatically goes back to the bottom right hand corner of the screen right over the clock. It is driving me nuts!!! Is this normal and if so, how can I turn it off??? Thank you for any advice you can give me.

Also, why would Acer partition the 80 gig hard drive into two drives of equal size?

Seems like you have discovered a quite common flaw with the Acer tablet, the jumpy mouse problem. You will find several threads here (and elsewhere in the net) dealing with this issue.

Ultimately you will probably not be able to avoid sending it in to Acer service. I sent mine in and it took forever to return. At first, the problem seemed to be fixed (Acer changed the inverter). After a little while my mouse pointer started to jump to a random point on the screen again and the right-click-menu popping up. In addition I noticed that the screen was now flickering when I used the tablet with the AC adaptor.

There seems to be a big compatibility problem with the power anversion/adaptors.

It is annoying, I agree. I sent it back to Acer for the second time now about 1 1/2 weeks ago and hope that it does not take as long for it to be shipped back (and finally be fixed!!!) as last time when it took a good four weeks.
