Acer TravelMate C111
Windows XP SP 2 (Tablet PC Edition 2005)

Problem:
I am a "The Apprentice" junkie. That, in itself, is not the problem. :)

When I go to apprentice.yahoo.com and attempt to watch the videos, the display driver crashes and forces me to reboot.

Technical information:
Error Message: STOP 0x000000EA THREAD_STUCK_IN_DEVICE_DRIVER (Q293078)

My question is, does anyone know if there is an updated display driver for the Acer C111 so that I can go back to watching my Apprentice Special Features?

Or perhaps a fix for this on the Microsoft website?

Do you get this error in all of the screen resolutions and the notebook versus slate modes?

Yes. In fact, the first time it was in Portrait mode, then I rebooted and switched to Landscape and happend again. It's pretty consistent. Happens in 800x600 and 1024x768 as well.

Intel has a Driver Revision: 6.14.10.3889 that was released 8-31-04. The release notes suggest several bugs were fixed except "Corruption / Rotation - InterVideo* WinDVD 6* - Corruption is displayed during switching the WinDVD 6 playback window from windowed mode to full screen mode."
