| Windows Media Player I have a Verizon XV700 and I am running Windows Mobile 5 with Media player 10. I had a program steal MP3s away from Media player. Now my MP#'s wont play. How do I get WMP to take control of MP3's back? |

You can use a program like Resco File Explorer to reassign them, or a registry editor like PHM Regedit and manually do it. You need to change the key in HKCR\MP3File\Shell\Open\Command\Default to: wmplayer.exe "%1" (you need the quotes around the "%1".) What program was unkind enough not to return the control to WMP when you uninstalled it (so we can all avoid it!)? -- Posted via a free Usenet account from http://www.teranews.com |
