| Getting Outlook contacts onto a Blackjack Hi all, I just purchased a Blackjack and am looking for a way to get my Outlook contacts onto it. I have ActiveSynch 4.5 and have been able to copy calendar information over, but not contacts. Cingular tells me that contacts aren't supported, but I have a hard time believing that my only option is to physically type each contact into the Blackjack. Anyone have any suggestions? |

I bought a Blackjack a few weeks ago and the first thing I did was Synch according to the instructions.....the CD ROM I have lists ActiveSynch 4.2. I was able to synch the previous 3 days of e-mails messages and all my contacts showed up also. My contcats are just e- mals addresses and I never put in the full address and phone numbers, but when I push the "contact" button on the Blackjack, all the e-mail addresses are there. When you call Cingular, you have to make sure you ask for technical support in the data center. The first level technical help know very little. You might also want to call Samsung...you can find HELP numbers on their web site. Margie |

| Re: Getting Outlook contacts onto a Blackjack Just to check, did you make sure that in the active sync settings it is configured to sync your contacts as well as your calendar items? Also verify that you are storing your contacts in the default folder in desktop outlook Thanks! -- Chani Johnson Software Development Engineer Microsoft Corp.
