SPV M3100 won't use Wireless LAN for internet - insists on GPRS?

When I first switched on the Wireless LAN I was able to connect to my LAN at
home, and browse the internet with IE quite successfully. I subsequently
used the phone away from home, connecting via GPRS for the first time, to
browse some internet pages. Now, back at home, when I switch on the Wireless
LAN, I can still connect and authenticate with my LAN okay, but it refuses
to use the LAN for Internet Browsing - if I open IE it insists on trying to
create a GPRS connection, which is obviously not what I want (slow, costs).

Try as I might, I can no longer seem to force it to use the Wireless LAN
when connected instead of trying to make a GPRS connection - can anyone
help?

Thanks,
D.

Re: SPV M3100 won't use Wireless LAN for internet - insists on GPRS?

Hi D

Go to Settings, connections, connections, advanced, select networks and
make sure the settings here are correct. I have Orange World for the
first one and My Work Network for the second.

Regards
Danep
