Newbie Question

We recently deployed some Treo 700w phones at my company. We are using
Exchange ActiveSync. All is working perfectly. My question is, if a user
deletes all their contacts on the Treo, will the next sync add back the most
current from the server to the phone, or will the deletion on the Treo cause
a deletion at the Exchange server at the next sync?

Re: Newbie Question

Hello,

Any contacts that they sync with the server will remain on the server
and be re-downloaded onto the Treo. The only contacts that they could
delete on accident are any they have on their PC but not on your
Exchange server.

Essentially the Exchange server, when it comes to pushing to devices,
is "always right" and any deletions will have to happen from the
server itself.

Hope this helps,
