overclocking htc snap

hi

i have searched everywhere tried also googling it but havent gotten
any answer. is there a way to overclock the htc snap (s522?). i have
tried using omapclock. it seems to work but sometimes hangs up the
system.

also please post the link of the software if possible. if there isnt
any already written for it, could someone please come up with one?
it would be really helpful. basically while using the device, at the
current speed, typing has to be slow and precise. wanted to overclock
it to increase type input speed.

fyi- qualcomm processor.

thanks,

Kunal

AFAIK, Omapclock is only for TI OMAP processors, and probably doesn't do
anything on a Qualcom-based devices like the Snap. I'd recommend avoiding
it like the plague on the Snap.

I couldn't find any overclocking programs for Qualcomm devices, but found
underclocking utilities like this:
http://handheld.softpedia.com/get/Tw...ol-77524.shtml.
Perhaps you can contact the developers and see if they had made any recent
updates that include overclocking.
