2 phones to 1 activsync account

Sorry if this is the wrong group.
I've posted in microsoft.public.outlook but activesync is a bit more
specialised to smartphones.

I want to use activsync to sync the same data to two phones.
My problem is that with two 'owners' I'm getting either doubling of
data (contacts, tasks etc) or only one phone syncs. I want the
computer to hold the master record.

I'm using office 2007. I'm flummoxed. Any ideas?

I use Tools -> Options (in the ActiveSync window on the "desktop") to
specify that desktop data should override device data. I do that for
each device, and each type of data (contacts, calendar, ...). That
means the Desktop is the master, and each device gets a copy.
