| Checking apps before installing on phone Hello... I have a O2 XPhone II that runs 2003 SE. I would like to have a look the applications on a emulator on my laptop before I install it on the phone. I am downloading Standalone Device Emulator 1.0 @ http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en ... Any other suggestions/ideas? Thanks, Rajiv www.rajspace.net |

If the programs and "known good" and not experimental apps which might cause problems, simply install them, give it a shot, and, if you don't like them, they are simple to delete on the ppc (start/settings/system/addremove) or from the sync pc (start/controlpanel/addremove) although you might have to manually delete start menu icons. If the app is new or suspect, it would be a good idea to run a full backup before you install, and then restore if it causes problems on the device. Beverly Howard [MS MVP-Mobile Devices] |
