smartphone windows media player lost "now playing list"

I am using Motorola Q9c running Windows Mobile smartphone 6.0.

If I stop playing the audio with media player, next time I resume the
playing, in some cases the media player will lose the "now playing" list and
I have to add the files back. It also lose the position of where it stopped
last time. I never turned off the phone. The audio files are on the storage
card and of course I didn't re-insert the card.

I had pocket pc (Dell Axim) before, and I know that if I turn off the
device, the next time, media player will lose the now playing list and last
stopped position. This is a well known issue and is due to the fact that
pocket pc rescan storage card upon resuming.

But here I never turned off the phone.

Is there any way to change this behavior so that it always keep the play
list and resumes at the place where it stopped?

Thanks.

Re: smartphone windows media player lost "now playing list"

I know what you mean. I have an HTC TyTN II with WM 6.1 and Pocket
Mediaplayer 10.3. For a music list which is supposed to randomly shuffle the
music (I've ticked that option), I sure hear allot of the same tracks over
again and some hardly ever get played. Microsoft needs to work on this
aspect of Pocket Mediaplayer.
