Problem with WM6 Internet Explorer

I am not sure why this is happening. I am getting this message whenever I
enter a web site address -
"The address is not valid. Check the address and try again."

This happened after I upgraded from WM5 to WM6. I am sure I have a good WIFI
connection.
Can anyone figure this out?
