Windows Mobile 6 Pro RPC over HTTP?

Does Windows Mobile 6 support RPC over HTTP email?

My phone is have a Verizon Samsung SCH i760 running Windows Mobile 6 Pro. I
also have the ability to access my work email on a PC using RPC over HTTP.

I have all the settings needed to connect RPC over HTTP using Outlook on a
PC, But I am unable to find any documentation specific to Windows Mobile 6
and RPC over HTTP and it's email compatibility.

Re: Windows Mobile 6 Pro RPC over HTTP?

I think you've got things a little mixed up.

RPC over HTTP is a way to have Outlook working with RPC from remote
locations.

Your Samsung device has Outlook Mobile, not full Outlook, so it works
differently. Instead of RPC, it Syncs with the Server. And yes, Sync is done
over HTTP. So you will have no problem at all using your current
infrastructure to Sync your mobile with the server, and will be able to Sync
data such as Mail, Contacts, Calendar and Tasks.

Best regards,

Helio
