C'mon folks, I can't believe no one has responded to my post asking if anyone knows where to find the program that adds "mark all" to the menu under messaging. Anyone...??? Bueller??? Bueller??? Does anyone actually answer questions here? |

If you really want my useless answer to you question, you're welcome to it: "no, I don't know where to find such a program... Sorry." |

Sorry." Wow- I apologize- I didn't mean to come off that pissy- it was a rough night last night- I've got a tough cold I can't shake and I'm not getting any real sleep. Werner answered your question in the pocketpc newsgroup- essentially, his answer was while there isn't such an app to add that function to the built-in e-mail client, a alternative messaging program called Flexmail has that function built-in. While your last device did have a "mark all" function, it was a Windows Mobile Professional (Pocket PC-based) phone (with touchscreen), not a Windows Mobile Standard "Smartphone" (no touchscreen.) The two OSes are a little different, and you've discovered one of the differences. Again, sorry for the "attitude." |

| Re: "mark all" -- again......is this forum dead or something? Hey Todd, no need to worry about the attitude, at least it was an answer!! I guess I'm just the kind of guy that likes something...even if the answer is.."nope, don't know." Then I feel like people are at least reading the post.....anyways, that being said...such a program does exist...and I FOUND IT FINALLY!!!!! Here is a link, it adds some neat options to the messaging client.. http://blogs.msdn.com/dennisq/archiv...29/730874.aspx Hope this helps others that are frustrated like I was with the limited functions. |

Now my "it doesn't exist" post was 100% wrong! > Here is a link, it adds some neat options to the messaging > client.. > > > http://blogs.msdn.com/dennisq/archiv...29/730874.aspx > > Hope this helps others that are frustrated like I was with the limited > functions. > Thanks- I might load it up on my wife's Dash (more for me than for her- it's her first Smartphone and she likes it, but I'm constantly frustrated by it for the stuff my PPC Phone can do and it can't!) |
