| Re: how to move a Powerpoint file to a Orange E650/ HTC 710 ? Which version of PowerPoint that you want to use? E650/HTC 710 used Windows Mobile6 Standard, so it fully support PowerPoint(Office) 2003 files. But if you using Office 2007, you should upgrade your Office Mobile software. Please, visit Microsoft Office Mobile upgrade site: http://www.microsoft.com/windowsmobi...edownload.mspx -Keon "nospam" <"news.ftr(nospam)"@free.fr>에서 메시지 뉴스에 작성했습니다. 478b479d$0$870$ba4acef3@news.orange.fr... > I tried to move a Powerpoint presentation to my E650/HTC 710 smartphone > via the Windows explorer once the ActiveSync folders are displayed. | Re: how to move a Powerpoint file to a Orange E650/ HTC 710 ? Hi Keon, I use OpenOffice which produces ppt files in the 2003 format version. I think I have read that the PP viewer needs to change the format of a presentation in some PP light format (?). | Re: how to move a Powerpoint file to a Orange E650/ HTC 710 ? What didn't work? Moving the file, or viewing it once it was moved? If it is viewing it, the HTC 710 is new enough it may want to view .ppt file natively. AS may be translating the file to a .ppv. I don't have a PC with AS handy at the moment, but look in the tools (I think) and see if the translation stuff is set to translate from PC to PPC and if so, turn that off for PowerPoint. Any easy check would be to move the file to a flash card in a flash reader rather than going through AS. -- Sven MS MVP Mobile Devices "nospam" <"news.ftr(nospam)"@free.fr> wrote in message news:478b479d$0$870$ba4acef3@news.orange.fr... >I tried to move a Powerpoint presentation to my E650/HTC 710 smartphone via >the Windows explorer once the ActiveSync folders are displayed.
