| Corrupted icons on Home page I have had this problem 2 and have only be able to resolve it by hard reset of my Motorola Q. I have been unable to find the directory where thses icons are stored. Where are they located??? After about 2 days my home icons change and I get the error Messege "Alert - Error opening the shortcut or locating the target filename.". There is no way of teeling which programs was suppose to be called, and NO way of editing the short cut. Doing a web search shows several people with the same type of problem, or a least of a simalr nature. Being a fairly good techical person I have already check the windows>start menu, but that does not have any invaild shorts showing. Getting email help from MS is outragous:$99 dollars! The phone only COSTS $99. Anyone have any ideas or help???? |

Is this normal for the smartphone version of Windows CE? This is the first time I have found it like this in any version of the Windows. Shouldn't the code for the icon bar automattically update itself to reflect the fact that the program was removed from the system??? |

This seems to be a default behavior. Linley Meslier Windows Mobile Training Specialist Pocket PC Mauritius Http://PocketpcMauritius.blogspot.com |
