Is there a way to merge the contact info w/o having to edit each individual
contact?

Unfortunately, not -- all you can do is opt to merge them initially and hope
for the best. Sounds like you answered 'no' to that when initializing Live
Mobile. There's no multi-select either when doing is, so you have to delete
them on-at-a-time...
