| Re: My T-Mobile Dash keeps restarting after inserting a Micro SD card! Thanks Chester. Seems like I'm not the only one. In the meantime I got a response from TMobile suggesting 2GB cards don't work. ..., please note that currently, the T-Mobile DASH reliably supports memory cards with up to 1GB storage capacity. Issues such as long loading time and device rebooting may occur if larger memory cards are used. I understand this is not exactly the information you wanted to hear, and I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused and I thank you for your patience and understanding. | Re: My T-Mobile Dash keeps restarting after inserting a Micro SD card! Hmmm... I had the same card with WM5 for months without this issue. Would think it's more related to WM6 than the Dash using a 2gig card. Guess that's an easier answer for T-Mobile to provide... | Re: My T-Mobile Dash keeps restarting after inserting a Micro SD card! Chester, I had a similar issue when I upgraded to WM6. It was not related to the memory card, but the older SIM card that I was using (pre 2002 is what I was told). It worked fine with WM5, but after the upgrade began doing this soft reboot over and over until I removed the battery. After I picked up a new SIM card from the T-Mobile store everything began working perfectly. Thankfully they did not charge me. As a test, try turning your phone on without the SIM card. If it starts fine, but alerts you that you don't have a SIM card in the phone this is probably the problem. Good luck! |

| Re: My T-Mobile Dash keeps restarting after inserting a Micro SD card! When I initially started having the issue, I thought the same thing. I tried removing the SIM and MicroSD cards; no change. From what I've read, there are several scenarios to this issue, with just as many resolutions -- glad you found one that works for you! Thanks though...
