Setup T-Mobile Dash as a modem

Anyone familiar with how to use a T-Mobile Dash as a USB modem? I've
seen a few articles on how to *possily* do it, but nothing has worked
so far. Thanks.

You have to run the Internet Sharing app, (Start > Accessories > Internet
Sharing) select USB or BT (in your case, USB,) the connection method
(depends on your data plan, i.e. "T-Mobile Data") then plug the phone
into the computer.

With the Dash, and other modern WinMo devices, you'll be creating a
"network connection" not a dial-up one like in the past- i.e. the phone
will act more like a DSL or cable modem ("always on") than a dial-up modem.

This is great, and much eaier, when you want to use your cellular
company's high-speed data, but lousy if you actually need a dial-up
connection to a particular number (i.e. a dial-up network connection or
BBS.)

Todd

I'm not sure I have the Internet Sharing app. I am using Windows
XP...is there something else I need to do? I can't find it in
Accessories.

Thanks.

NEVER MIND -- found it on the phone! This rocks, very fast too unlike
the dial-up networking I've done with phones in the past!
Thanks!!
