WMDC won't install -- error code 80070103

I'm trying to establish a relationship between a new T-Mobile Wing and Vista.
When I try to install the USB Sync driver, it continuously fails and
produces error code 80070103.
I can transfer files to the Wing like a flash drive, but I need to be able
to sync it, too!
Any help would be appreciated.
