| reading text messages from mobile on my laptop I have a Cingular 8525 phone with the latest version of Windows Mobile. I just got the phone replaced through warranty because the old one died, and now I am trying to transfer all my text messages to the new phone. Not an easy task! Is there some way I can read my text messages on my XP laptop? When I transfer the texts from the phone to the laptop, it says they are converting to desktop format, but I cant read them. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated as these are very important text messages. Thanks in advance! Chris |

| Re: reading text messages from mobile on my laptop Try Jeyo Mobile Extender. Not only it lets you read messages on your desktop, you can also send and receive sms in Outlook. | Re: reading text messages from mobile on my laptop Please consider reposting your question to the pocketpc group (and also following it). THis q has just been asked (and answered) there. In addition to Jeyo, I also recommend PIM Backup and some other free solutions. -- -- Werner "Menneisyys" Ruotsalainen - Microsoft MVP - Windows - Mobile Devices Please see the Pocket PC Mag Expert Blog (including mine) at http://www.pocketpcmag.com/blogs/ - you will definitely like it.
