| Moto Q: Media Player Won't Play Complete MP3 Whenever I try to play a reasonably long mp3 (like a 30 minute podcast) in the Windows Mobile Media Player, I can't seem to finish. Somewhere in the middle of the mp3 (at random places), I get the Alert "The server is busy or not responding", and the mp3 stops (note the complete mp3s are stored on the SD card, and I'm in no way contacting a "server" unless WMP is doing something tricky in the background). I can restart the mp3 and fast-forward to the point where it previously stopped (WMP fast forward and file position need work) and it plays fine for another indeterminate amount of time, at which point it Alerts again. I haven't been able to make it through a 30 minute podcast without this happening at least twice. Sometimes it happens in the first minute, and sometimes I get through 15-20 minutes. Any ideas what is happening? I was thinking that perhaps WMP is trying to download some sort of "cover art" for the podcast? BTW: Sprint Motorola Q, Microsoft Windows Movile Version 5.0 Radio Version Q2-BP_C_06.26.00R,Q2 Portable, RIL Version 2.000, OS 5.1.195 (Build 14960.2.4.0). I've installed .Net CF 1SP3 and 2SP1. Thanks! -Mike |
