| Assigning tasks, can this be done in WM6 ? I'm looking at Windows Mobile devices for the business I work for and a killer feature would be the the ability to assign tasks to others. I understand that this is not possible with Windows Mobile 5 but can this be done with WM6 when using Exchange 2007 ?. Thanks. |

| Re: Assigning tasks, can this be done in WM6 ? Unfortunately, this can't be done on the device. On the desktop, you can send a task request, and the recipient will get an email that is a lot like a meeting request - they can accept or decline the task. On the device, there is no UI for sending this, and it is not consumed by it either. In messaging/inbox application, the email won't even show up. So either end of the scenario is not supported. If you accept a task on the desktop(Outlook), this task will then sync down to your device. But, you won't have any information about who assigned it to you. -- Chilumba Mubashi This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties, and confers no rights. | Re: Assigning tasks, can this be done in WM6 ? Thanks for confirming that Chilumba, that's a shame as this would have been a killer feature for us.
