WM6: Change sound for Reminders, New text message etc.

Phone: HTC-S710

I can change ring tone to any mp3 or wma file copied to the phone.

But all other alert-sounds seems to be limited to the predefined choices -
how do I get to have userdefined sounds for New text message etc.?

Simply save your ringtones to the folder called storage. However,
saving files to this folder will impact on your device memory.

Re: WM6: Change sound for Reminders, New text message etc.

Bingo!

Ringtones works from \My Ringtones, but alert sounds does not. I tried to
put them in \Windows where the other alert wma's are, with no luck.

But \Storage Card works like a charm :-)

Thanks,
