| VPN Client I have a Motorola Q. I have gone through and setup 2 different VPN connection. One should work with my VPN/Firewall and the other should work with my Windows 2000/2003 servers. The problem is that I can't see a way to activate these connections. For instance I have a VNC viewer that I have already tested and used through opening up the ports for it on my firewall, but I want to use it over a VPN for security. How do I get this VPN connection to activate? |

| RE: VPN Client It depends on the device that you have. In the case of the Samsung i600 it is not self-evident and is not decribed in the manual. I have not found a means of establsihsing a vpn connection directly. I have only worked out how to get to a website on remote server via the vpn and it goes something like this: In the settings of the vpn on the device select connect from "the internet" and connect to "work". Then open internet explorer and go to menu , tools, options, connections, select network "work". Enter the url and it should connect via the vpn automatically. I am not sure how it would deal with two vpns. Prior to getting the Samsung, I had an O2 XDA Mini S. On theis device you could tap on the vpn and request "connect". I am not familiar with the Motorola Q. "Jordan" wrote: > I have a Motorola Q. I have gone through and setup 2 different VPN > connection.
