Samsung i600 connection settings - MMS problem

I experience this frustrating situation. Using the Samsung SGH-i600
unbranded, I use Mobile internet in a wide form: GPRS, UMTS and HSDPA. I'm on
KPN network in the Netherlands. I got the settings on the phone. Everything
works: ActiveSync with our server over the air (RPC over HTTPS), Internet
through webbrowser is ok WiFi etc. However, with my internet settings
properly set, I get an error message when sending an MMS message saying I
should "check my MMS profile and try again". Strangely, when I throw away my
internet (GPRS) settings, MMS works flawless. This is proof that nothing is
wrong with the settings itself. So, it must be somewhere in configuration of
what connection to use when. To me, this has always been a difficult issue in
Windows mobile (all versions!). Ik starts with the "Work", "Internet" and
"Wap" setting and so on in start>settings>more>connections>Menu>advanced. But
secondly, settings are also configured separately in the MMS profile in the
Messaging-menu containing the MMSC settings. Third, there are 3 GPRS profiles
(Internet, MMS and WAP) configured. Fourth there are settings defined in
setting>more>proxy (KPN WAP Proxy) describing from and where the proxy
connects to. I am in doubt if I need this WAP configuration at all by the
way. And last (5th!) there is a possibility to define a connection in the
Intenet explorer:Menu>tools>options>connections on which network to choose.

All this confuses me completely and I wouldn't care for logics when all
works fine but it does not. Previously I used a Samsung i320, all worked
perfectly and I can't discover any differences in settings. It's driving me
insane!

Anyone who can help or at least explain the logics behing the
settings-structure of MS? What is referring to what?

Thanks.
