I started to use a Tablet PC in March of this year (2003). However, I started using it as a desktop replacement. Later, I found ways to use the Tablet in it's purest form.

I'm a lawyer. Getting my paper notes digitized was my goal with the Tablet. So far it's working pretty good. Still learning. So much information is created by handwriting, its been a real shame not to have it in digital form. Now I can. :)

I bought a TC1000 about one month after they were released... that's well over a year ago! I really like it, and it's my primary machine at work.

I will probably upgrade to a second gen unit in March.

Do you have any complaints with it at all? I might get 1 for my edu job. Is this a better value than the other 1 I like that has the via processor and ddr ram?

DOnt buy a tablet unless it has intel in it. THe other ones are too hot or too weak. Pentium M is best, Pentium 3 M is ok

I've had an ltp600 for almost a year. Notquite using it full time yet; trying to work out a few bugs with getting XP on there- pen probs.

Bought a tablet just for a specific use at work. Now that I've become familiar with it I found that I reallly like the tablet format and I'm going to replace my laptop with a tablet for home use. Waiting to the prices to drop to a more reasonable level though.

Just bought my Tablet PC about a week ago from Newegg.com.
