hi.. i just bought the imate spm5 (wm5) smartphone and was trying out
the direct push feature. after inputting all relevant information
regarding server, domain, username, password etc.. and selecting "as
items arrive", i get the message that i need to specify the "delivery
address information" for my device, in activesync. when i go to that
option, the only thing that is displayed for input is "device sms
address". i try and enter gibberish and also things that i think would
make sense like ad2 (which is the domain), the server address, etc but
they are all wrong (as i keep getting the message that its incorrect).
it asks me on the next screen that it is incorrect and if i want "as
items arrive" option then i need to specify this. if i dont, then my
device would sync with the server on specified intervals.

now i also own the imate jasjam (wm5 touchscreen) device and use the
activesync over the air through direct push. i dont need to specifiy
any such thing in that device and things work perfectly...

please let me know what to do....
