| problem with Win Mobile 5 and CAB install... I just got a PPC-6700 Sprint Windows Mobile 5 device. Everything worked fine originally, but now when I copy a .cab file to my device so I can install it, it does nothing when I click it. If I click-and-hold a .cab file, it will give me the normal "cut, copy, paste, etc." options. Why are no cab file launching to do an install when I click them. Anybody heard of this problem? Thesee are files that /i know are good Won Mobile 5 installs. Please let me know! |

Its possible that one of your programs has taken over the file association for cab files. I recommend you download and try CabInstl. Its a very small program that deals with the installation of cab files. Its very good actually as it also allows you to specify a cab to install to an external card. Install that and set it to be the default application for cabs and see if you can regain your cabs back. http://www.pocketpcfreewares.com/en/index.php?soft=524 |
