Windows Media Player shuts PC down during sync with Windows Mobile 5 device.

I have a great Verizon XV6700. I rellay love this phone/pocket PC.
However I have run into a problem that I am hoping someone may have a
solution for. When I try to move video to the device using Microsoft's
Windows Media Player 11, it begins the conversions fine but when it
reaches between 15%-25% my entire system shuts down.I tried shutting
the conversions off, but when I did the files would not play at all. I
know it is not a space issue and the card holds programs, photos, and
music fine. My operating system is XP SP2. I have followed all of the
trouble shooting that I can find. Activesync works fine. And I have
followed all troubleshooting offered at whe windows mobile and widows
media player help sections at the microsoft site. Thanks for your
attention. All suggestions are appreciated.
