| SanDisk SD Micro - Loss of space This is a 1GB card which I use in an Orange SPVM3100 and connect to via a USB Cable to my laptop. Although the card is 1GB the reported usable space is 600mb and there are not files visible. I have no other way to connect this to my laptop. How do a regain the 'lost' space many thanks |

How do a regain the 'lost' > space A few came to mind... 1. Buy a card reader and reformat it. (The best option- read/writes are generally much faster in a reader than through a device.) 2. Borrow a digital camera the card fits in and reformat it. 3. Download/buy software that will run on the 3100 and reformat it. 4. Find some other way I haven't thought of above to reformat it! |
