Wrong board dude. Try the PocketPC newsgroup. John -- Heb. 4:12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. YOU crosspost to microsoft.public.handheldpc and microsoft.public.pocketpc about your HPC issue and it's okay, but someone else does it about their PPC issue and you say it's wrong. -- <http://designsbymike.biz/macconsultshop.shtml> Mac-themed T-shirts <http://designsbymike.biz/musings.shtml> Mostly muckraking T-shirts <http://designsbymike.biz/prius.shtml> Prius shirts & bumper stickers <http://cafepress.com/comedancing> Ballroom dance-themed shirts & gift |

I said SuperNews had one of your identities blacklisted, obviously not this one. So, why do you think it's all right for _you_ to crosspost to microsoft.public.handheldpc and microsoft.public.pocketpc while you criticize others for doing the same? -- <http://designsbymike.biz/macconsultshop.shtml> Mac-themed T-shirts <http://designsbymike.biz/musings.shtml> Mostly muckraking T-shirts <http://designsbymike.biz/prius.shtml> Prius shirts & bumper stickers <http://cafepress.com/comedancing> Ballroom dance-themed shirts & gift |

I would not cross post a HPC question to a Palm OS forum since the devices are very dfferent. Why do you hang around a board where you have little if any knoweldge of the subjects being discussed? How often have people asked about Mac issues here? YOU crosspost to both groups, yet you criticize others for doing the same, as you did in this very thread. Why do you apply a different standard to yourself than you do to others. > Why do you hang around a board where you have little if any knoweldge of > the subjects being discussed? It's not a board, it's a Usenet newsgroup, and it takes very little time and effort to scan subject headers. And you know very well that Chris Tilley specifically asked me several years ago to check in here to handle the admittedly rare Mac issues that come up. > How often have people asked about Mac issues here? Not often, but would you prefer that those who do get no help at all when I'm ready, eager and willing to help? By the way, one of my clients switched from PCs to Macs and is now synching his PocketPC with his G5 using Missing Synch for Windows Mobile. -- <http://designsbymike.biz/macconsultshop.shtml> Mac-themed T-shirts <http://designsbymike.biz/musings.shtml> Mostly muckraking T-shirts <http://designsbymike.biz/prius.shtml> Prius shirts & bumper stickers <http://cafepress.com/comedancing> Ballroom dance-themed shirts & gift |

In that sense I think you have a point. I do this at times. My bad. John |
