| Conventional PocketPC's do they exist? It looks like only HP makes them these days or are there more? Yes I know what a SmartPhone is and I have a BlackBerry. However its more of a email, pager, smart phone, rather than a Power House PDA which is what the old PocketPC's and Palm's were back in the days when these devices were being made all the time by many different companies. If you do not know the difference between a SmartPhone and a PocketPC go to this page http://pocketpccentral.net/ipaq_ppcs.htm John -- Are there errors in the Bible? Do Animals go to Heaven? Is drinking Alcohol a sin? Is the KJV the only translation to be used? If you want to learn, get answers, and be able to defend the faith, CERM is your place. http://www.cerm.info/ |

| Re: Conventional PocketPC's do they exist? I only know of HP iPAQ's. Nevertheless, for example the Dell Axim x51(v) is still a great disconnected device - particularly because of the constant XDA-Devs support. That is, you can safely buy a used Axim - it'll run all your apps (except for the ones requiring more than 64M RAM). | Re: Conventional PocketPC's do they exist? I just got one and I love it. I'm running WM6.1 (Lennysh's edition) and it runs pretty fast. I got it used (excellent condition) from ebay for $200 that included the PDA and cradle, a Bluetooth GPS receiver, 3 SD cards witha bunch of movies in them, a Rhino case and two new extra batteries. -- Manuel Rivas "Werner "Menneisyys" Ruotsalainen" <no@emails.please> wrote in message news:%23FZuM4iZKHA.4992@TK2MSFTNGP02.phx.gbl... >I only know of HP iPAQ's.
