Got the ipaq hx4700 from my father. But it doesn't work. Need windows 5.0
for this pda.
Can anyone help me?

It's a so-so, with plenty of bugs and dismal performance (I'e published
several articles on this matter). Your best bet is puchasing the official HP
upgrade (so that you have a valid license) but don't flashing it and just
going for a WM6.1 cooked ROM available at XDA-Devs instead. Of them, I've
been using Kozhura's ROM available at

What do you mean it doesn't work? Installing a new ROM won't make
it work of there is a hardware problem.
