I have never heard of such a thing. They do exchanges for defective
products but not a refund, and not because the buyer did not like the
product.

Dell has kiosks in malls here in Houston. You can try out the Axim but only
on the premises.

You may just have to take the plunge. I am on my second Axim and am very
satisfied. I am sure you will too. Good luck.

I don't think you van for a dell ppc, but some cellphone companies offer
a trial period on their ppc offerings, if you were so inclined.

If you are in the UK you have the support of the Distant selling
regulations. That means if you buy online, you have up to 7 days (from day
of delivery, not day of order) to return an item for a full refund if you do
not like it (minus postage charges of course).

I have an x51v and am very satified with it but I am not sure Dell
will be that liberal with letting you test drive one

Do they refund the airfare from Europe for those of us thinking of
buying one?

Did you try asking Dell? Give them a call, see what they say.

Mike.

Please don't carry your Axim while taking the plunge as water will
ruin it.
