I got an idea. Since the Pro 2 / Diamond 2 are going to have a "Zoom Bar" maybe they can do something like this with the "Zoom Bar." Put little lines on it somehow like the following. |----|----|----|----| Where the lines mean up, right, home or enter, down and left. Then they could call it the I-Pad right? Oh yeah, the I should be on it's side so it would look more like |--|-Pad. BTW I wonder if anybody will ever make a Bluetooth D-Pad for the Touch Pro 2. |

I just noticed that someone makes a Bluetooth D-Pad for the iPhone "GameBone Pro brings Bluetooth D-pad and buttons to iPhone games" http://www.pocketgamer.co.uk/r/iPhon...ws.asp?c=14033 |

| Re: Would you use a PPC with no D-pad? >> trying to turn her kindle pages by stroking the upper right corner of the unit... << fwiw, I finally downloaded a few kindle ebooks on Rebecca's iTouch in prep for a trip she's taking in about a month which will include a couple of 10 hour flights where they will likely be appreciated. The biggest complaint I have with the iphone/itouch kindle app is that it has zero documentation, so, getting up and running is a stumble and frustrate as you go... ....however, I have to admit it's a good ebook reader interface. One handed reading is easy, turning pages either way using just a short thumb screen stroke. "Bookmarks" took a while to discover... you "dog ear" the upper right corner. No apparent "annotation" option though. There is a "lock" option to turn off screen rotation... essential for reading in bed. Beverly Howard |
